a gift for that loved one who really should quit smoking

From  40 yards away, I thought this might have been a discarded houseplant or (even better) a failed perennial or shrub that I could rescue. But then I realized that it was near the smokers' station outside Duke South. Gross.

    Victor,
    Just ask my brother about having half a lung removed. he is 55 and in terrible shape, still smoking he started at 12 years old..
